Raja Ampat is situated off the northwest tip of the peninsula of Bird's
Head on the New Guinea Island. This archipelago consists of more than
1500 small islands, shoals and cays around the 4 main islands of Waigeo,
Batanta, Misool and Salawati. It covers about 40,000 km² land and sea
that includes Indonesia’s biggest national marine park, Cenderawasih
